We recognised that not all of our customers will have the opportunity to visit our factory. To help with this we wanted to provide you with a virtual DP Seals Factory Tour. Take a look around using the 3D tour, aerial drone footage and 2D images and we hope you’ll get a feel for our modern, innovative and efficient operations.
As part of this you’ll see the recent expansion of our manufacturing capabilities. To improve lead times we’ve added further presses in our main production unit and as you can see from the 360° images there is also plenty of space for the future provision of machinery as we continue to grow.
Our cleaning and quality areas have also been expanded whilst our busy toolroom has been reconfigured to house an additional CNC machine. The Tool Room Control Hub is now the nerve centre linking all our CNC machinery, tooling design and production together. We have also installed multiple state-of-the-art vertical machining centres (VMC) from leading manufacturers such as Mazak and XYZ.
The improvements are already having a positive impact on our workflow and production speeds as well as providing plenty of scope for growth – long into the future.

Reception and Meeting Room
Our fully equiped meeting room is able to accomodate both virtual and ‘in person’ meetings in comfort
Whether it’s F1 or Siemens, every visiting engineer is hugely impressed with the range and quality of the machinery in our Tool Room.
Our Tool Room Control Hub is the nerve centre linking all our CNC machinery, tooling design and production.
With the introduction of the world class Mazak VCS 430A to our toolroom, we’ve greatly increased our in-house toolmaking capabilities. This continues our ongoing investment into future technology, maintaining our position at the forefront of our industry.
Filling most of the width of the end wall of our toolroom is our Sliding Head Lathe. We use this to produce all the locator pins for our tools, keeping every element of production in-house.
To complement our range of CNC machines and lathes we have a separate grinding facility maintaining all tool production in-house
Our new Panstone high-pressure production presses can be found in both our specialised Subsea and Aerospace facilities, these provide greater control of pressure along with faster operational speeds
There are 8 smaller presses in the main production unit, ideal for smaller fine detail micro mouldings and prototyping.
The wide scope of our medium to large presses gives the flexibility to manufacturer larger mouldings and gaskets or high-volume components from multi-cavity tools.
Two of our largest presses are shown here, off to the right but just out of shot is the impressive Big Bertha, see if you can find her in the 360° image.
We have a number of visual inspection systems specialised to specific tasks from checking measurements, surface quality, detailing and flash.
