We are a family firm based in Hamworthy. Established for more than forty years. We produce bespoke rubber and bonded components for various industries including Aerospace, Subsea and Medical.
We currently have a vacancy for a Production Machine Operator. Using presses you will produce a variety of different parts, loading blank material onto a tool, positioning the tool within the press, and running the production cycle. You will then remove the tool from the press, disassemble it and remove the moulded components from the tool, quality checking them as you do so.
Previous experience in machine operation would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
Hours: 8:00am to 5:30pm Mon to Thurs and 8:00am to 12:00 noon on Friday. Overtime may be available, at the supervisor’s discretion.
Holiday: We have 4 weeks holiday a year, one of which will be kept back for Christmas shut down, plus Bank holidays.
Pay: Starting rate is £10.01 per hour increasing incrementally as you progress.
This is a full-time permanent position.
