Murphy becomes Manufacturing Manager

We are pleased to announce the further promotion of Shane Murphy to the position of Manufacturing Manager.

Since Shane was promoted to Quality Manager in 2020 he has continued to show his true abilities and passion for learning and leading. He has devoted many hours of his personal time attending courses in quality management which have given him the ability to lead DP Seals through our AS9100 audits. Throughout this time has has continued to support his team of inspectors and been the first point of contact with our customers to ensure we meet the quality standards that DP Seals is renowned for.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team he has also helped steer DP Seals through very difficult times during the pandemic and is getting to grips with running all the aspects of production including the difficulties of dealing with global supply issues faced by so many manufacturers.

As Shane takes on the Manufacturing Manager role he is training Senior Inspector Nick Rumble to eventually take over in the Quality Manager role.

Outside of work Shane devotes a great deal of  time to his beloved football. He is a highly regarded goalkeeper in the south and has had many sponsorship deals over the years helping him pursue his hobby.
